Crunching Numbers: IBC Tank Prices in Arizona Revealed
Caged IBC totes come in fourĀ options: new, rebottled, reconditioned, & used.
- New totes are brand new and have never been used, making them the most expensive but also the highest quality.
- Rebottled totes have new inner HDPE totes but previously used outer cages that have been refurbished to industry standards. These are priced in the middle range.
- Reconditioned totes have used inner HDPE bottles and steel frames, cleaned and inspected to meet regulations. They are the least expensive option but not suitable for potable water or consumables due to prior use.
- Used rinsed totes are not professionally cleaned, and the metal cage may or may not be usable. Without labels, it’s impossible to know what was last contained in them, and their age is unknown.
